WHAT IS A GOLD STANDARD CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER?

Founded in 1954, the American College of Sports Medicine [ACSM] is the oldest and most established program for personal training certifications.

“ACSM Guidelines for Exercise Testing and Prescription" is the standard for testing and prescription in the exercising industry. All ACSM's training protocols are based on scientific evidence and years of evaluated results since its foundation.

The ACSM certifications receive the title of “Gold Standard” by the fact that the institution is the leading producer of studies and scholarly articles and in fact, most CPT courses, reference ACSM’s research in their own textbooks.
4REAL counts exclusively with Gold Standard Certified Personal Trainers on its team of experts. Additionally, our professionals are accredited by other valuable and distinguished organizations on the health industry to guarantee the safety and effectiveness of our services.

HOW TO PROCEED IF A HAVE AN INJURY OR CHRONICAL CONDITION?

Our team of Gold Standard Certified Personal Trainers are prepared to work with different population and health conditions. When an injury or chronical condition is reported in the 4REAL individuality track questionnaire, 4REAL will make sure to deliver the best strategy by creating adaptable workouts, that respect the client’s health condition and exercises that limit and/or avoid stress to the affected site.

As a commitment to develop safe and efficient workout plans, our clients will count with restorative exercises to enhance mobility, connective tissue strength, joint stabilization, and flexibility.

If after you fill-out the 4REAL individuality track questionnaire, your injury or chronical condition is found out of our scope of practice as personal trainers, we will send you an email explaining the reasons we cannot work with you and, if possible, we will recommend you an adequate professional for the case.

Finally, 4Real will fully refund you for what you have paid for, and the company will not keep your billing information in their records.

WHAT IS THE COMPANY’S SCOPE OF PRACTICE?

As a Premium Personal Training company, we perform and rely our business on the American College of Sports and Medicine’s scope of practice roles of personal trainers.

As Gold Standard Certified personal trainers, we must:

• Demonstrate safe and effective methods for exercise.
 • Motivate your client and hold them accountable.
 • Help clients set, modify, and achieve goals.
 • Develop exercise prescription to help clients to achieve goals.
 • Perform screening to determine exercise readiness and contraindications.
 • Applying basic first aid techniques.

WHAT IF I DON’T WANT TO WORK WITH THE TRAINER SELECTED FOR ME?

Our company is totally client-oriented, and we do your best to find in our team the perfect fit for our clients according to the information collected through our 4REAL individuality track questionnaire.

However, if for any reason you decided that the trainer chosen is not the right fit for you, you can email us and request a refund before the contract of service get signed and sent over.

You will only be charged a $50 fee for the video call time of the personal trainer and besides that, the client will get refunded for the difference paid for, and the company will not keep their billing information in their records.

***IMPORTANT NOTE: If you sign-up to the virtual plan and send over the contract of service signed, you will agree to work with the Gold Standard Certified Personal Trainer designated to you until the workout plan purchase is over or renewed after 3 months.

DO I NEED TO BE MEMBER OF A GYM?

While a commercial fitness center is undoubtably helpful in providing a wide range of equipment options, a gym membership is not required for you to partner with us!

Our team of Gold Standard Certified Personal Trainers are prepared to work with and adapt to the resources you have available.

However, by the fact that our workout plans are not body weight based only (calisthenics), we believe that for the safety, effectiveness and comfort of our clients, a minimum of fitness apparatus is required for the program, and you will be asked about it during the 4Real individuality track questionnaire.

In other words, if you have a gym membership, or have a fitness center at your residential complex, own a home gym or even have some training equipment at home [dumbbells, bands, kettlebells, barbells] and you desire to accomplish long-term health and wellbeing.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?

This is a very general but important question. Every individual is different and reacts differently to specific stimuli according to their genetics, training experience, health condition, age, and body response to the amount of exercise.

Currently, the concept of fast results in fitness and weight loss is largely spread on social media and internet as online challenges, followed by restrict diets and/or abuse of supplements or drugs.

Unfortunately, the toll of drastic changes in physical activities routine and dieting without a credited professional is, in most cases: unsustainable results in the long run, metabolism dysregulation and side effects that are harmful to your life and general health.

According to studies, it generally takes about eight to 12 weeks to boost cardiovascular health and endurance, and 3-6 months for an individual to see substantial increases in muscle size.

However, studies also found that one single session of exercise can significantly improve mood, energy, focus, self-steam and help with mental health issues as depression and/or anxiety.

For this reason, we believe that the process is as important as the goal itself! By the period of 3 months, our clients will have the opportunity to achieve holistic improvements in their wellness journey, such as changes in body composition, mobility and flexibility, physical performance, and their life habits throughout knowledge and guidance in exercise prescription.

WHAT IS THE COMPANY’S REFUND POLICY FOR VIRTUAL PLANS?

By enrolling in any program and completing a purchase of any 4REAL premium personal training plan you acknowledge and agree you have read and understand the Terms, Conditions, Procedures, Rules & Regulations of 4REAL. You also acknowledge and agree to the following cancelation and refund policy: (1) You, the buyer, may cancel this agreement at any time before you send us the contract of service signed. Enrollment is defined by submitting your payment and having the contract of service signed. (2) A full refund may be granted if you contact us requesting to cancel your plan at any time before the video call with the personal trainer assigned to you. (3) A partial refund may be granted if you contact us requesting to cancel your plan at any time after the video call with the personal trainer assigned to you and before you send us the contract of service signed. You will be billed a $50 fee for the video call time of the personal trainer and other services provided previously, including communication, administration, or any activity related to your program including technology service set-up (4REAL app), agreement generation and workout programming, whether completed or not. Besides the $50 fee, the client will get refunded for the difference paid for, and the company will not keep their billing information in their records. (4) You the buyer acknowledge that there are NO refunds on online plans after you sign and send over the contract of service. You understand that by signing and sending the contract of service you agree to work with the Gold Standard Certified Personal Trainer assigned to you until the workout plan purchase is over or renewed after 3 months. (5) You also acknowledge that all 4REAL premium personal training plans are a 3-month contract commitment, and you will be responsible for the term of the agreement.

WHAT IS THE COMPANY’S REFUND POLICY FOR HYBRID AND IN-PERSON PLANS?

By enrolling in any program and completing a purchase of any 4REAL premium personal training plan you acknowledge and agree you have read and understand the Terms, Conditions, Procedures, Rules & Regulations of 4REAL. When you purchase any of the hybrid or in-person personal training plans, you confirm that you are a resident of Orange County – CA and live within the cities the company provides its services. You attest that you have the minimum requirements to perform a workout plan such as having a fitness center at your residential complex, owning a home gym, having some training equipment at home [dumbbells, bands, kettlebells, barbells] or being enrolled to any gym that allows EXTERNAL PERSONAL TRAINERS. You also acknowledge and agree to the following cancelation and refund policy: (1) You, the buyer, may cancel this agreement at any time before you send us the contract of service signed. Enrollment is defined by submitting your payment and having the contract of service signed. (2) A full refund may be granted if you contact us requesting to cancel your plan at any time before the video call with the personal trainer assigned to you. (3) A partial refund may be granted if you contact us requesting to cancel your plan at any time after the video call with the personal trainer assigned to you and before you send us the contract of service signed. You will be billed a $50 fee for the video call time of the personal trainer and other services provided previously, including communication, administration, or any activity related to your program including technology service set-up (4REAL app), agreement generation and workout programming, whether completed or not. (4) You the buyer acknowledge that there are NO refunds on hybrid and/or in-person plans after you sign and send over the contract of service. You understand that by signing and sending the contract of service you agree to work with the Gold Standard Certified Personal Trainer assigned to you until the workout plan purchase is over or renewed. (5) You acknowledge that the scheduling of coaching sessions is your responsibility and these sessions do not carry over monthly or accumulate. Each 4REAL hybrid and in-person program includes a set monthly series of coaching sessions according to each plan: HYBRID PLAN: 1 session/month within 3-month pack [total = 3]; STANDARD IN-PERSON PLAN: 8 sessions/month; VIP IN-PERSON PLAN: 12 sessions/month and it expires at the end of each month division. The in-person personal training session can be re-schedule ONE (1) TIME PER MONTH with a minimum of 24 HOURS NOTICE. The personal training session will be counted as performed if missed or by last-minute reschedule attempt. Nevertheless, 4REAL may accommodate you for planned absenteeism, emergencies, vacations, or limited terms agreed upon separately from this agreement. Please coordinate with your 4REAL coach for such accommodation. Please communicate directly you’re your personal trainer to facilitate in-person sessions cancellation.
